Hi, I'm Tatyana
I am the founder of Synergy Dance Project. I’ve been dancing since the age of two, and began dancing competitively at the age of fifteen. I primarily train in contemporary, hip hop, ballet and jazz, and I am proficient in teaching/choreographing contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. I have studied under world-renowned dance artists such as Daniel Stark, Dr. Julie Kerr-Berry, Allison Doughty, and Yukina Sato. I’ve trained, performed, and taken classes all around the United States. In addition, I have created multiple works performed in dance competitions and conventions in Minnesota and have received multiple awards for choreography. In fall of 2024, I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and a minor in Marketing. Currently, I am working as social media and content marketing assistant and I freelance in the dance community.
I have always been inspired by the idea of “synergy” in that, we work better together. One of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 12:5; it reads “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one member of one another”. We are all a part of one thing, and each and every member is important to Christ, and in this sense – the dance community. My faith is something that is incredibly important to me, and it is important that I make that the center of everything that I do. May Synergy Dance Project always be rooted in Him, and allow this movement to connect us together through dance.
